Abstract

The important role of HR in the company is the employee's effort to fulfill the workresults given by the company in order to get the specified success target. But too manyroles and workload given by the company will affect the quality of employee performance.This study aims to determine the effect of multiple roles and excessive workload onemployee performance at KP Karya Makmur. This type of research is a quantitative studyusing multiple linear regression methods. Sampling using saturated sampling with apopulation and a sample of 60 people a number of employees at KP Karya Makmur. Fordata collection through observation, interviews and questionnaires. Distribution ofquestionnaires using a Likert scale. Data analysis techniques use SPSS, for data testingtechniques use Descriptive Statistical Analysis, Data Quality Test, Classical AssumptionTest, Hypothesis Test, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, Coefficient of DeterminationTest (R2). And the results of the research show that the multiple roles and workloadaffect the performance of employes at KP Karya Makmur
