Abstract
Total Quality Management (TQM) is a management concept that emphasizescontinuous improvement in improving the quality of products and services provided. In therestaurant sector, TQM that focuses on customers, education and training, engagementand empowerment, and continuous improvement can be key in increasing customersatisfaction and improving company performance. This study aims to determine the levelof understanding and commitment of the Kanvill Dau Restaurant company regarding theimportance of focusing on customers in improving product and service quality, theeffectiveness of education and training provided for employees, the level of involvementand empowerment of employees in the process of improving product and service quality,awareness and the company's commitment to continuous improvement, as well as theimpact of TQM implementation on the quality of the products and services provided. Theresults of this study are expected to provide useful information for the Kanvill DauRestaurant company in improving the quality of products and services provided andincreasing customer satisfaction.This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing Total Quality Management(TQM) on employee performance at the Kanvill Dau Restaurant. The research methodused was a survey using a structured questionnaire to collect data from 100 respondentsconsisting of employees in various divisions in the restaurant. Data analysis was performedusing multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing.The results showed that the implementation of TQM had a significant positive effecton employee performance at the Kanvill Dau Restaurant. Factors such as strongleadership, effective communication, and sound decision-making play an important role inimproving employee performance. In addition, this study also shows that factors such asemployee training and development, as well as employee motivation, also have asignificant effect on employee performance.Based on the results of this study, it is suggested for the Kanvill Dau Restaurant tocontinue implementing TQM as an effort to improve employee performance. In addition,efforts need to be made to improve employee training and development as well asemployee motivation so that their performance is more optimal. This research is expectedto contribute to the development of management science, especially in the field of TQMand employee performance in the food and beverage industry
