Abstract

This research was conducted at PDAM Malang City. The purpose of this study istodescribe job training, kaizen culture, and career development on employee performance inPDAM Malang City, analyze the effect of job training on employee performance in PDAMMalang City, analyze the influence of kaizen culture on employeeperformance in PDAMMalang City and the influence of career development on the performance of employees inPDAM Malang City. The variables used in this study are job training, kaizen culture andcareer development as independent variables, while employee performance is the dependentvariable. The sample used in this study was 98 employees at PDAM Malang City using themultiple linear regression analysis methods. The results of the study show that the variablesof kaizen culture and career development have a significant effect on employee performancein PDAM Malang City,which means that a culture of kaizen or culture of work discipline isnecessary for companies to support the performance of every employee in PDAM MalangCity, in addition to the development career in employees to reward work achievement resultsalso affect employee performance in PDAM Malang City, while the job training variablewhich is considered has no significant effect on employee performance in PDAM MalangCity. It can be concluded that 2 variables in this study, namely the kaizen culture variableandthe career development variable affect the performance of employees in PDAM Malang City,while 1 variable, namely the job training variable, is not significant or has no effect onemployee performance in PDAM Malang City
