Abstract

Planning and control are needed in project implementation to avoid delays in project completion and excessive cost overruns. This time and cost planning is needed in project implementation so that project activities run efficiently in terms of time and cost. This study aims to determine time scheduling and project cost planning, as well as the application of the Critical Path Method to the Sumberpucung Sub-District Office Development Project. This research is included in Applied Research which aims to apply project management with the Critical Path Method in scheduling time and planning costs on projects. The types of data used in this study are quantitative data and qualitative data obtained from CV. Erlina Gistara Jaya as the contractor. The analytical method used in this study is the Critical Path Method. Based on Network Planning analysis using the Critical Path Method, the project completion results were obtained with an optimal time of 98 days or 2 days faster than the predetermined time. The total costs incurred using the Critical Path Method are the same as the total costs planned by CV. Erlina Gistara Jaya without using the Critical Path Method, which is Rp. 1,351,335,097. Because there was a delay in completing work in the first week which was 4 days late from the planning that had been prepared by CV. Erlina Gistara Jaya, need a Crashing Program was carried out to cover the delays that occurred so that the project could be completed on time with a duration of 100 days for project completion, which caused the total project cost to increase to Rp. 1,358,768,431.
