Abstract
Job satisfaction and workload are important things that need to be considered by a company. With job satisfaction obtained by employees, employee performance will also increase, as well as an effective workload from data companies knowing to what extent employees can be given the maximum load and to what extent what effect does it have on the company. The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) the partial effect of job satisfaction on employee performance 2) the partial effect of workload on employee performance 3) the effect of job satisfaction and workload simultaneously on employee performance. The population of this study is the population of PT Indomarco Prismatama Malang branch with a sample used as many as 45 people who are employees. The technique used is data collection through censuses and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is fixed multiple regression analysis technique with a significance limit of 0.05.
The results of hypothesis testing show that job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance as evidenced by the t count of 4.400 > t table of 2.018 with a significance of 0.000 or less than 0.05. Workload has a positive but not significant effect on employee performance as videnced by the t count 1.501 < t table 2.018 with a significance of 0.141 greater than 0.05. Simultaneously job satisfaction and workload affect employee performance as evidenced by the calculated F value of 34.914 > f table 3.21 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. The percentage influence of these two variables on employee performance is 62.4% while the remaining 37.6% is influenced by other factors not included in this regression model.
