Abstract

This research aims to design the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of an information system application for school information management. The case study is implemented at SMAN 5 Poco Ranaka, with a primary focus on monitoring student payments and integrated announcements. The problem currently faced by SMAN 5 Poco Ranaka is the inefficient management of student payment data and the manual dissemination of announcement
information, which leads to data inaccuracies and delays in information dissemination.Design Thinking is the method used in the design process, which can solve problems from different perspectives while considering the users. From the research conducted, the findings fall into the "EXCELLENT" assessment category, with a scale rating of B and a score of 80.25. This indicates that the data is considered good and acceptable based on its usability components.With this application, it is expected that SMAN 5 Poco Ranaka can improve the quality of educational
services through better and integrated information management.
