Abstract
The title of this study is the design of the Aurari shop cashier application using research and development (R&D) methods. The problems found at the research location are 1. The aurari shop does not yet have a sales application for the cashier section 2. There is no integrated recording system at the aurari shop cashier 3. The sales reporting provided is
not effective to support future business. This study aims to design a cashier application at an aurari store, so that it can easily serve customers and record incoming and outgoing
goods. This research approach uses a research and development approach using the
ADDIE Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation models which are divided into several phases in the research and development method, namely: 1. Analysis Phase (Analyzing Potential, and Problems and Data Collection) 2 .Design and Development (Product Design, Design Validation, Design Revision) 3.Implementation
(Product Trial and Product Revision) 4.Evaluation (Evaluate the system that has been designed and maintain its development). The current system analysis method uses the
pieces method (Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, Service), the application of this method is to analyze the basic problems that are specific to the system.
The results of system testing are tested using the black box testing method (black box) so as to create a series of input conditions that will fully meet all functional program
requirements using the black box testing method
