Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the user interface of the SISTA UNMER Malang application to increase user satisfaction. The goal is to improve the comfort and ef iciency of navigation and provide a positive user experience. The methods used include heuristic evaluations to identify interface problems based on Nielsen's 10 principles, and the methods used include analysis of user needs through interviews and questionnaires to identify current problems. Then the concept design is carried out based on the principles of User-Centered Design (UCD). Next, a test was carried out on users to get input on the evaluation of the new user interface. where the results show an increase in satisfaction scores to satisfaction. Thus, the new design expected from this study is the availability of the user interface design of the SISTA UNMER Malang application which has been refined based on evaluation inputs. The new design is expected to improve the user experience in managing the academic process through improved navigation, graphic display, and more intuitive interaction. This development is expected to support the achievement of the goal of using information technology in the educational environment.
