Abstract

Indonesia is a developing country with increased development in every region. As a result of the increased development, the need for construction materials is increasing, one of which is concrete. Concrete is experiencing the latest innovations such as non-sand concrete. The strength of non-sand concrete is greatly influenced by the filler content and the type of aggregate size. In this case, glass powder filler can be used as a non-sand concrete constituent material which aims to fill the voids left by sand. This study aims to determine the effect of coarse aggregate size and glass filler content on the compressive strength of non-sand concrete. This study used variations in the size of coarse aggregate 5mm, 10mm, 20mm and used 10%, 15% and 20% glass filler. In this study using a cylindrical specimen with a size of 15 x 30 cm with a concrete age of 28 days to perform a compressive strength test. Concrete with the highest compressive strength value was achieved in non-sand concrete with 20% glass filler content with a compressive strength value of 26.61 MPa and using 5 mm coarse aggregate. while the lowest compressive strength is found in normal concrete with a compressive strength value of 10.47 MPa and using 5 mm coarse aggregate, fas 0.5 and AC 2:1. the increase in compressive strength between non-sand concrete and normal concrete is 32.28 MPa.
