Abstract

High-quality concrete supports infrastructure development. However, porosity is one of the factors causing the compressive strength of concrete to decrease. Use filler glass and silica fume to overcome the porosity problem in concrete. This study aims to determine the effect of adding levels of filler glass and cement water factor on the compressive strength of high-strength concrete. In this study, the various levels of filler The glass used are 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% by weight of cement and grade silica fume constant 1.9% by weight of cement. Variations in the cement water factor are 0.26, 0.40, and 0.50. Cylindrical test objects as many as 45 test objects. The compressive strength test conducted on concrete, aged 28 days. Planning of mix high-quality concrete by SNI 03-6468-2000 concerning Planning of High Mixture with Portland Cement with Fly Ash. The highest average concrete compressive strength test results were 52.83 MPa at the content filler 5% glass and rates silica fume 1.9% with a water-cement factor of 0.26. Meanwhile, the highest average compressive strength of concrete without added materials was 50.40 MPa at a water-cement factor of 0.26. Addition filler glass with silica fume in the manufacture of high-quality concrete is good for increasing the compressive strength of concrete.
