Abstract

DPRD, which stands for Regional People's Representative Council, is an institution or agency that has a position in the government in the region, either in the province, as well as in the regency or city. In this case, the DPRD has several tasks, one of which is an official trip or work visit to coordinate related to an existing problem. Batu City, East Java Province is a city which of course has an institution or DPRD agency in it. Along with the rapid development of technology, the process of working on the tasks of each institution or agency also develops. However, in this case it is still often found that institutions or agencies that are already large still use simple technology, such as the use of simple Microsoft office offices. The method used is still relatively simple and not efficient for a larger scale. The Work Visit Recording Program at the Batu City DPRD using Microsoft Visual Basic For Application (VBA) was created with the aim of making it easier for Batu City DPRD employees to carry out the tasks of inputting data, editing data, deleting data, searching data, and calculating expenditures. The Work Visit Recording Program at the Batu City DPRD using Microsoft Visual Basic For Application (VBA) was designed and built using the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) Development model with the Agile method. The process of collecting data was carried out using interviews and observation methods. At the end of the research the author succeeded in developing the previous program with a program that is more structured, organized, attractive, easy to use and of course in accordance with the needs of DPRD employees through the Work Visit Recording Program using Microsoft Visual Basic For Application.
