Abstract
STEM learning in Indonesia still needs attention. STEM education can improve students' cognitive, affective and psychomotor. One of the things that can improve STEM learning is through Lego robot training. This research will discuss the implementation of STEM learning through the introduction and training of Lego robots. This training was held at SMP Bani Hasyim, Greater Malang. This training is also in line with the vision of SMP Bani Hasyim which adheres to an innovative and creative learning system. Method used is a qualitative descriptive method through interviews with students and teachers before and after training. FGDs were conducted with teachers from SMP Bani Hasyim before the training took place, in order to be able to make learning media appropriate to their level. Training have 22 student participants. In the training there were 2 activities, material presentation and hands-on practice. Participants were divided into 2 groups. In hands-on practice, participants were given a mission to complete. Participants successfully carry out the mission given. After this training, students' understanding of technology and robots increases. 80% of participants wanted to learn more about robotics. It can be concluded that this training attracted the interest of SMP Bani Hasyim students, but similar activities need to be held on an ongoing basis.
