Abstract

Technological advances that occur every year make developments in the field of construction produce innovations in work implementation methods, one of which is the top-down method of implementation. This method allows the construction of the basement to be carried out simultaneously with the superstructure work which results in a fast project completion time. The purpose of this research is to compare the bottom-up implementation method that is usually used in projects with the top-down implementation method in terms of cost and implementation time. The research method used in this study is the quantitative method, for calculating implementation costs using the Work Unit Price Analysis (AHSP) method and for planning implementation time using the Microsoft Project 2016 application. The results obtained in this study are for implementation time analyzed using the Microsoft application Project 2016 resulted in the bottom-up method having a duration of 821 calendar days and the top-down method having a duration of 693 calendar days. For implementation costs using the bottom-up method, Rp. 534,974,570,850 and for the top-down method spent Rp. 538,861,461,837
