Abstract
Disclosure of public information is the responsibility of the government and must be implemented in all public bodies. Correct, effective and efficient information is very helpful for the community in making decisions in reducing uncertainty and anticipating obstacles that will be expected to occur. Information that is really needed by the people of Ngada Regency is about the performance of public bodies, especially regarding financial reports and other information regulated in laws and regulations.
The purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of the Ngada Regency Regional Regulation regarding public information disclosure carried out by the Ngada Regency Communications and Information Office and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in realizing the regional regulation.
In this study the method used is qualitative. Research data obtained from observations, interviews and documentation studies. Informants in this study were divided into three groups, namely key informants, main informants and additional informants. The determination of the main informants was carried out purposively, namely the determination of the informants intentionally.
Based on the results of research conducted in the field, it shows that in terms of communication, information disclosure at the Kominfo service is still inadequate. Information that is conveyed openly to the public is still limited to information that is less important, and the method of delivery is not directly to the public. In terms of resources, the data information provided is in accordance with the public interest, and the physical impact has been received by the community. However, misappropriation of funds often occurs so that it is very detrimental to the public interest. In terms of the bureaucratic structure, the service has carried out its supervisory function on the implementation of providing information on government implementation. The leadership related to the supervisory function has monitored directly in the field to find out that the public has obtained adequate information. In terms of disposition, the Department of Communication and Informatics seriously responds to complaints from the public, especially the lack of data. However, limited funding resources are often an obstacle so that the response to public complaints with the realization of improvements is delayed.
