Abstract

This thesis is the result of research on Village Fund Governance (Case Study in Suci Village, Manyar District, Gresik Regency Based on Gresik Regent Regulation Number 8 of 2021). The background of this research is the problem of poverty in Indonesia which is one of the crucial problems and can result in endless social impacts. One of the poverty alleviation programs is the Village Fund which is used to prosper the community through the implementation of programs and activities in the field of development and empowerment of the Village community. The indications of problems found by researchers related to the Village Fund in the Suci Village are the obstacles in filling out the activity proposal form and the budget draft submitted to the RKPDes Committee because it will be selected in accordance with the regulations in force in the current year, the maximum ceiling or budget determined according to the rules is not sufficient for spending in the village. field, as well as delays in budget reporting.
This study aims to describe and analyze Village Fund Governance in Suci Village, Manyar District, Gresik Regency. The purpose of this research is to contribute ideas and theories about Village Fund Governance through program interventions and community participation.
The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. The techniques used in data collection were interviews with people involved in managing village funds in the Suci Village, observation or observing field conditions and documentation in the form of official documents and photos of activities owned by the Holy Village Government. The technique used in data analysis is using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The location of the research was carried out in Suci Village, Manyar District, Gresik Regency.
The results of the study show that Village Fund Governance in Suci Village has been running well and in accordance with existing regulations, but in its implementation there are still some problems
