Abstract
Performance improvement is one of the most important benchmarks in achieving public organizations. . Based on Law Number 5 of 2014 concerning ASN, it is realized when the organization can direct, develop the potential and capabilities of employees. One effort to improve performance is to provide motivation, rewards for employees. Thus these things can improve employee performance.
The purpose of this research is to find out the improvement of employee performance in terms of adaptive governance which is implemented in Lowokwaru District, Malang City. To find out the driving and inhibiting factors of efforts to improve employee performance in terms of adaptive governance implemented in Lowokwaru District, Malang City.
The research method that the author uses in writing the thesis is a descriptive qualitative method. By using the Miles and Huberman analysis method there are three stages that are passed and occur continuously in analyzing data consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions or verification. This study took the location of the Lowokwaru sub district office. Informants used to obtain information on employee performance are the Lowokwaru sub-district, the Lowokwaru sub-district secretary, Lowokwaru sub-district employees and the Malang City Regional Personnel Agency.
From the results of research that has been carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation regarding Efforts to Improve Employee Performance from an Adaptive Governance Perspective, it can be obtained an overview of how the performance of employees in Lowokwaru sub-district. Efforts to improve employee performance are carried out in several ways, namely by providing motivation and rewards. In addition, money efforts are a support in improving employee performance in Lowokwaru District, namely employee education, facilities and infrastructure and rewards. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor in efforts to improve employee performance in Lowokwaru District is the low level of Human Resources.
