Abstract
This study reveals how the online learning process that new students accept affects their mental health. The research used a mixed method, sequential explanatory. Questionnaire was distributed to a sample of new students at the Faculty of Economics, University of X, then carried out a simple regression analysis. The results were followed up by conducting in-depth interviews with randomly selected samples during the second semester. In contrast to previous findings, the results of this studt indicate a weak relationship between online learning and mental health disorders of new students. The first semester was the beginning of adaptation, but students were able to survive despite some complaints related to the lecture system. In the second semester, students feel that they can study comfortably, supported by self-resilience and also a more creative teaching techniques for lecturers.
