Abstract

This service program also aims to realize the empowerment of women
housewives and young women in Ngantang District, Malang Regency to have
an entrepreneurial mindset so that they are able to generate income for their
families and minimize the number of underprivileged communities. Through
the training method of making a product that has a high economic value by
innovating the manufacture of various flavored fried onion snacks. Shallots
have many benefits, besides that, red onions are also often processed as fried
onions and now Ngantang District is one of the producers of shallots in
Indonesia, providing a choice of various processed foods derived from these
onions. The targets of this service activity are 1) Women can have skills in making processed fried onions into a snack with various flavors, 2) Women
understand how to use their free time with productive ones, 3) Change
women's mindset to be innovative and productive. creative, by inviting them to
do activities that are highly efficient. Meanwhile, the outputs of this activity
are 1) Creating creative women by utilizing productive time, and 2) Producing
food innovation products from high-economy local commodities.
