Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of locus of control, self efficacy and self esteem on employee performance Sukun District Office Malang. The sample in this study were 35 employees who worked at the Sukun Malang District Office, because all the population in this study were sampled, the sampling method was saturated sampling technique. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression, the coefficient of determination and hypothesis testing. The results showed that from the calculation of multiple linear regression equations it can be seen that X1 (Locus of control), X2 (Self Efficacy) and X3 (Self Esteem) have an influence on Performance (Y), with the results of the regression test: Y = 0.545 + 0.728X1 + 0.713 X2 + 0.860 X3 + e. The coefficient of determination of R square is 0.815. This means that X1 (Locus of control), X2 (Self Efficacy) and X3 (Self Esteem) affect performance (Y) by 81.5% while the remaining 18.5% is influenced by other causal factors not examined in this study. Based on the test results with the t test, the hypothesis made proves there is an influence. The variables X1 (Locus of control), X2 (Self Efficacy) and X3 (Self Esteem) show the t value greater than the t table and the significance value is less than 0.05. This means that X1 (Locus of control), X2 (Self Efficacy) and X3 (Self Esteem), have a positive and significant effect partially on the performance (Y) of employees of the Sukun Malang District Office. Based on the results of hypothesis testing with the F test, the value of F count> F table (27.101> 3.29) and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05 means that there is a simultaneous influence of X1 (Locus of control), X2 (Self Efficacy) and X3 (Self Esteem), on the performance (Y) of employees of the Sukun Malang District Office
