Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of spiritual intelligence on sexual behavior among dating app users. The research method used is correlational quantitative with a total of 100 respondents. Sampling was determined using the purposive sampling technique. The measurement instruments used were the spiritual intelligence scale (α = 0.760) and the premarital sexual behavior scale (α = 0.890). Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression. The results of the data analysis showed a regression coefficient (β) of -0.232 (p = 0.020) < 0.05. Based on this, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of spiritual intelligence on premarital sexual behavior, accounting for 5.4% of the variance, with a negative relationship. This means that the higher a person's spiritual intelligence, the lower the premarital sexual behavior experienced by the individual.The findings indicate that the higher a person's spiritual intelligence, the lower the premarital sexual behavior they engage in. By raising awareness of the importance of spiritual intelligence, it is hoped that risky sexual behavior can be reduced.
