Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of self-efficacy on the future orientation of the marriage field in final year students. This research method uses quantitative correlation, with a total of 300 respondents. The sampling was determined using a combination of accidental sampling techniques and snowball techniques. The measuring tools used were the self-efficacy scale (a = 0.934) and the future orientation scale in the field of marriage (a= 0.934). The data analysis technique uses simple linear regression. The results of the data analysis showed a regression coefficient value (p) =0.000 < 0.05 with a value R2 = 0.221. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between self-efficacy on the future orientation of the marriage field in final year students at Merdeka University of Malang. Self-efficacy affects the future orientation of the marriage field by 22%, while the rest is influenced by various other factors. The implications of the results of this study lie in efforts related to increasing self-efficacy in final year students who are at the end of their education in higher education in making choices and looking at the picture they have related to the context of marriage in future life.
