Abstract
This study aims to examine the relationship between ethical leadership and employee performance of Generation Z in Indonesia. The research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The sample was selected using purposive sampling technique. The measurement instruments used were an adapted Ethical Leadership Scale (ELS) (α = 0.93) and the Individual Work Performance Questionnaire (IWPQ) (α = 0.847). Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression. The results showed a coefficient value of 0.461 (p = 0.000) < 0.05. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive relationship between ethical leadership and the performance of Generation Z employees. This study provides information that ethical leadership can determine the level of employee performance among Generation Z, thus highlighting the need for leaders who adopt an ethical leadership style within companies.
