Abstract

Loneliness is a psychological state characterized by feelings of isolation and lack of social interaction. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between affiliate needs and loneliness in early adults who use bumble applications. The research method used was quantitative with accidental sampling data collection techniques using scale that distributed to 187 young adult respondents of bumble application users aged 18-25 years. The results of the study based on regression linearity test showed that there was a positive relationship between the need for affiliation and loneliness with a regression linearity value of 0,079.
