Abstract
Balinese women, who are still closely connected to their tradition and religion, are known to have a relatively low level of life satisfaction due to the pressures of multiple roles, cultural burdens, and strong patriarchal values. This condition can impact mental health and psychological well-being. Therefore, this research aims to determine whether there is a relationship between religiosity and life satisfaction among Balinese women. This study uses a correlational quantitative method. The sample consists of 217 Balinese ethnic women aged between 18 and 40 years, selected through incidental sampling. The instruments used are the Satisfaction with Life Scale and the Centrality of Religiosity Scale, which have been adapted, validated, and proven reliable. The hypothesis test results show that religiosity has a positive relationship with life satisfaction (β = 0.481, significance p = 0.000 < 0.05), with a contribution of 23% (R2 = 0.232). This indicates that early adult women of Balinese ethnicity with high religiosity tend to have high life satisfaction, and vice versa. Thus, enhancing religiosity can be one of the efforts to improve life satisfaction in several ways, such as self-reflection, meditation training, government programs to strengthen religiosity, and providing more inclusive and non-discriminatory spaces by the indigenous community.
