Abstract

The purpose is to find out if there is a relationship between workload and workplace well-being. This research method uses quantitative, with a total of 150 respondents. Sampling was determined using the Cochran formula with a significant level of 8%. Data collection was conducted using the Workload scale (13 items, α = 0.880) and the Workplace Well-Being subscale from the Employee Well-Being Scale (EWBS) scale(6 items α = 0.942). The data analysis used was a simple linear regression analysis, resulting in a workload regression coefficient of -1.254 with p=<0.000 (p<0.005). This shows that the relationship between workload and workplace well-being is negative. Workload makes an effective contribution of 28.1% to workplace well-being. This study provides information that the higher the workload felt by workers, the lower the level of workplace well-being they experience. Therefore, it is important to manage the workload effectively by considering the capacity and psychological condition of employees.
