Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine social support with self-acceptance of high school students in Malang City. This research method uses a quantitative approach with simple regression analysis techniques, with 101 respondents. Determination of sampling using convience sampling technique. The measuring instrument used is the social support scale (0.905) and self-acceptance (0.855). The data analysis technique uses simple regression analysis with the help of statistical software SPSS 24 for windows. The results of data analysis showed a correlation coefficient value of 0.000 <0.05. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between social support variables and self-acceptance. Social support has an effect of 23% on the self-acceptance of high school students in Malang City. The direction of the relationship between the two variables is positive, meaning that the higher the social support, the higher the self-acceptance of high school students. This study can provide information that social support can predict the high and low self-acceptance of high school students in Malang City, with an increase in social support in high school students in Malang City through mindfulness and time management so as to reduce the habit of academic procrastination.
