Abstract

This research aims to reveal the factors that support the resilience of teenagers who are pregnant out of wedlock in Ngoro Village, Jombang Regency. The approach used was qualitative with a phenomenological method, involving three teenagers as respondents. Data was collected through observation and semi-structured interviews, then analyzed using the horizontalization technique according to Monstaks. The research results show that teenagers who become pregnant out of wedlock face challenges in the form of psychological pressure, such as stress, confusion and panic, as well as social stigma from the surrounding environment. To overcome these challenges, they develop certain strategies that help maintain mental and emotional well-being. These strategies have proven effective in reducing the negative impact of social stigma and supporting their ability to stay focused on life. These findings provide an overview of how adolescents deal with the social and psychological stress caused by out-of-wedlock pregnancies. This research also provides insights that can be the basis for developing interventions to support adolescents to become more resilient in facing social and psychological challenges.
