Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between social support and selfconfidence among students with disabilities in Malang City. A quantitative correlational method was used, involving 100 respondents selected through the snowball sampling technique. The instruments utilized in this research were the Social Support Scale (α = 0.971) and the Self-Confidence Scale (α = 0.930). Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression. The results showed that social support significantly affects self-confidence, with a significance value (p) of 0.000 < 0.05. The regression coefficient of 0.649 indicates a strong and positive relationship between the two variables. These findings suggest that the higher the level of social support received, the greater the self-confidence of students with disabilities. This research highlights that the development of self-confidence can be fostered through strong social support, as individuals who receive high levels of support tend to feel valued and accepted by their environment.
