Abstract

Work stress has become a very serious problem in the world of health in recent years. Especially in the world of work, employees experience demands or stress that cause discomfort in doing their work. This problem phenomenon causes stress in employees. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between religiosity and work stress in employees of the KECE Group Malang Eye Clinic. The population in this study was 50 employees of the KECE Group Malang Eye Clinic with a sample of 50 people. The sampling technique uses a saturated sample technique. Data collection techniques used religious and work stress scale instruments. The results of normality test data analysis using Kolmogorov-Smirnov showed that both significance results were 0.200 (sig>0.05), which indicated that the data was normally distributed. Furthermore, the linearity test obtained a significance result of 0.935 (sig>0.05) indicating that the data was linear and there was a relationship. This research uses a regression test with a result of 0.001 (sig<0.05) which shows that the data has a relationship and the hypothesis is accepted. It can be concluded that there is a negative relationship between religiosity and work stress in employees. The higher the religiosity, the lower the employee's work stress, and vice versa, the lower the religiosity, the higher the employee's work stress.
