Abstract

Improving employee performance can be done by providing motivation so that employee performance can be optimal in carrying out work responsibilities well. This research was conducted with the aim of finding out whether work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance at PT. Jasa Marga Tollroad Operator Pandaan-Malang. The research method used uses quantitative research. The sample in this study was all employees at PT. Jasa Marga Tollroad Operator Pandaan-Malang totaling 53 respondents. Data collection tools in this research used a work motivation scale and an employee performance scale. Data analysis uses simple linear regression. The results of the research show a significant influence of work motivation on employee performance, this is proven by the linearity test which has a significant score of 0.536. The work motivation variable is able to explain changes in employee performance variables by 26.9%, R2 = 0.269, F(df) = 18.798, p < 0.05. The contribution or implications of this research are expected by employees of PT. Jasa Marga Tollroad Operator Pandaan-Malang can increase or maintain its work motivation so that in the future employee performance will be even better.
