Abstract

The tragedy of Kanjuruhan that killed 135 Aremania souls of football fans in Malang caused a deep sorrow after families who left behind. One of the subjects experienced a feeling of sadness and quite deep grief after the loss of his daughter who was the only child and the hope of her parents. This study used a qualitative research method with a case study The three stages of data analysis that conducted by the researcher are reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results showed that the subject went through four stages of grief, namely: denial, anger, acceptance, and bargaining. The subject had good resilience compared to other victims' family who experienced grief. There are two factors that influence grief resilience, namely supporting factors and inhibiting factors. Supporting factors for grief resilience include: social support and individual strength from within. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor for grief resilience is the absence of psychological assistance.
