Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between selfcompassion and resilience in victims of dating violence. This research method uses a correlational quantitative approach with a total of 108 respondents. Determination of sampling using purposive sampling technique. The measuring instruments used are the Self Compassion scale and the Resilience scale. The data analysis technique uses simple regression analysis. The results of data analysis show a coefficient value of 0.687 (p=0.000) < 0.05. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between self-compassion and resilience in victims of dating violence. This research can provide information that selfcompassion can predict levels of resilience in victims of dating violence, so there is a need to increase self-compassion in victims of dating violence.
