Abstract
The social media that is widely used by teenagers is the Tiktok application. In the Tiktok application there is a Tiktok Shop feature which can be used to buy goods online. This feature can have a negative impact, namely consumer behavior where teenagers can be said to be unstable and easily attracted to new items. Consumptive behavior in adolescents cannot be separated from factors influenced by the social environment, namely reference groups or peers. This research aims to find out how consumer behavior is related to teenage Tiktok Shop users in terms of peer attachment. The population in this study is teenagers whose population is not known for certain (infinite), with research samples using techniques non-probability sampling with type purposive sampling as many as 100 people with the criteria of teenagers aged 12-18 years who had shopped at the Tiktok Shop. The data collection instrument uses a consumer behavior scale with a peer attachment scale. The research results used correlation analysis product moment with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between consumer behavior and peer attachment among teenage Tiktok Shop users with a positive relationship direction. With the higher the value of consumer behavior, the higher the peer attachment in adolescents, and vice versa.
