Abstract

This study was conducted to determine whether there is an effect of celebrity worship on verbal aggression of k-popers fans on Social Media. This study aims to determine the effect of celebrity worship on verbal aggression by k-popers fans on social media. This study uses a quantitative method using a variable scale celebrity worship and verbal aggression behavior to 100 female k-popers fans from several fandoms (communities). The technique used is Non Probability Sampling with purposive sampling method. Analysis of the data used is linear regression using SPSS software version 21.0. The results showed that there was an influence of celebrity worship on verbal aggression behavior of k-popers fans on social media. The result of the F test is 67,012, so it can be concluded that celebrity worship simultaneously plays a role in verbal aggression of k-popers fans on social media.
