Abstract

As we know, Indonesia has so many interesting places which can be visited by domestic and foreign tourists. Unfortunately, although tourism gives a big contribution for the economy of Indonesia, marketing problem is still not a major concern and implemented optimally. In terms of tourist visits, Indonesia is still far behind other countries such as Singapore and Thailand. Thailand is able to bring foreign tourists to 80 million people per year. As well as the Singapore foreign tourists can bring as many as 10 million people per year. Well, Indonesia is only 6 million tourists per year (kompas.com). One cause of lower excursion in Indonesia is the limited existing tourism information system both in terms of completeness of the data and also the ease of access. Therefore this research, aims to : 1) Conduct a through exploration to obtain all the information about all tourism objects in Malang, 2) Identify the response from tourism actors (entrepreneurs engaged in the tourism sector and tourists) to evaluate and get feedback on tourism information system that has been there from the “perceived usefulness” and “ease of use”, 3) Develop a prototipe of integrated resume information system through the Technology Accepted Model and implement. The final result of this research is an integrated tourism information system, for local tourism Malang based on the principle of use of “usefulness” and “easy of use.”
