Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-esteem and jealousy in dating students. This study uses quantitative methods with a correlation approach. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with consideration of dating students aged 18-25. The number of subjects in this study were 385 respondents. The research instrument used a self-esteem scale with a reliability coefficient of 0.899 and a jealousy scale with a reliability coefficient of 0.881. Data analysis techniques using Pearson product moment correlation test. The results showed a significance value of 0.000 (sig. <0.05) so it was concluded that there was a significant relationship between self- esteem and jealousy in dating students.
