Abstract

Self-regulated learning as a form of individual learning that depends on one's motivation to learn, develop and measure independently can be influenced by democratic parenting.The purpose of this research is to explain the effect of democratic parenting on self-regulated learning in students of public senior high school 10 Malang. This study uses a causality quantitative method. The sample used in this study were 158 students of SMAN 10 Malang with the accidental sampling technique as the sample. The measurement tool used is a scale of democratic parenting and self-regulated learning. The significance value is 0.000> 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of democratic parenting on self-regulated learning in students of SMAN 10 Malang.
