Abstract

The occurrence of cybersex behavior begins with curiosity and the desire to discuss things thatlead to sexual content. One of the factors that influences cybersex behavior is self-control, thisis very necessary to suppress negative behavior that leads to deviations that occur. Themethod used in the research is non-probability sampling with purposive sampling techniqueas a sampling strategy using 100 respondents. This research uses product moment correlationtest techniques and reliability tests using the Alpha Chrobach formula, the results of whichshow close to 1.00 so it can be said to be reliable. The analysis results show a normality testusing Kolmogorov Smirnov, with a significance of 0.000. The Linearity Test found a significantresult of 0.690 which can be said to have a linear relationship between the two variables.Hypothesis testing using Pearson correlation produces a correlation index of 0.251 with a sigvalue. 0.012, which means that self-control is positively related to cybersex behavior, thus thehypothesis in this study is accepted
