Abstract
One of the problems experienced by the sandwich generation is multiple role conflict, which is one type of conflict in individuals when faced with pressure or role imbalance between roles in work and roles in the family. Self-efficacy or selfconfidence when facing the tasks given
is one way that can influence individuals in managing work-family conflicts. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self-efficacy on work-family conflicts in sandwich generation working women. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self-efficacy on work-family conflicts in sandwich generation working women. This study used a quantitative approach with regression method. This study used quantitative research methods. The instruments used in this study were self-efficacy scales and work-family conflict scales compiled by researchers using the Likert scale model. This study used a purposive sampling technique involving 96 women working in the sandwich generation in Malang. The reliability coefficient on the selfefficacy scale was 0.931 while on the dual-role conflict scale it was 0.954. The results of the hypothesis test using a simple linear regression analysis technique that self-efficacy has a significant influence of 0.000 on work-family conflicts with a coefficient of 0.862. Self-efficacy contributed 0.744 (74.4%) to work-family conflicts.
