Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between impulsive buying and interest in using online loans in early adults in Malang City. The research method used is a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The population in this study were early adults with an age range of 18-35. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling. Taking the number of participants as many as 100 using the theory of Lemeshow. The data collection method uses an impulsive buying scale and an online loan interest scale. The
data analysis technique used is Pearson product moment correlation. Based on the results of data analysis, the correlation coefficient value is 0.741 and the significance value is 0.000 (p <0.05). These results indicate that there is a significant positive relationship between impulsive buying and interest in online loans, meaning that the higher the impulsive buying, the higher the interest in online loans in early adults.
