Abstract

Interpersonal communication in the world of work is needed to establish a social relationship with coworkers. Good interpersonal communication will lead to good social relations between employees, with good communication is expected to reduce misunderstandings between employees and work burnout. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interpersonal communication on burnout tendencies. This research is quantitative non experimental. The sample in this stufy amounted to 89 employees of PT. Pilihanmu Indonesia Jaya who works with WFH. Using purposive sampling technique, with a measuring instrument interpersonal communication scale (22 valid) and burnout scale (28 valid) in the form of a Likert scale. The reliability coefficient is 0.970 for the interpersonal communication variable and 0.809 for the burnout variable. The result of the hypothesis indicate the influence of interpersonal communication towards burnout tendencies with a significance of 0.005<0.05.
