Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic that has occurred since 2019 until now has changed all sectors of life, one of which is in the field of Education, which initially taught and taught learning activities were conducted face-to-face to online. Many problems occur when online learning is implemented because it is carried out with a ratio that has never been measured and tested because it has never happened before, thus increasing the burden on teachers. With the increasing workload, thejob embeddednessof teachers can decrease. Happinessat work is one of the factors that can affect one's job embeddedness . This research is a quantitative research that aims to see the relationship between happiness at work and job embeddedness in teachers of SMP, SMA and SMK Wijaya Putra Surabaya. The subjects in the study were teachers of SMP, SMA and SMK Wijaya Putra Surabaya, totaling 74 teachers. The data collection method [H1] uses the [H2] happiness at work scale and the job embeddedness. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between happiness at work and job embeddedness, with a correlation coefficient of 0.833 with a significant value of 0.000 (p<0.05). The relationship between the two variables shows a positive relationship where [H3] means that the higher the happiness at work , the higher the job embeddedness and vice versa, the lower the happiness at work , the lower the job embeddedness.
