Abstract

The perception of the activeness of members in the organization is very important, because members are the main support in every organization. In fact, most of the members of the Catholic Student Association of the Republic of Indonesia Malang Branch are not active, thus making it difficult for the organization to carry out organizational activities. The perception of organizational activity can be seen when members intersect physical as well as psychic activities in the organization. If the member's organizational commitment is good, the perception of the activeness of the members in the organization will be good as well. This study aims to determine the influence between the variables of organizational commitment on perceptions of organizational activity. The data collection technique uses the instrument of the scale of perception of organizational activity and the scale of organizational commitment. The scale validity test uses Pearson's product moment and reliability is measured using cronbach's alpha coefficient. The sample in this study was 110 members from the class of 2018, 2019, and 2020 of the Catholic Student Association of the Republic of Indonesia Malang Branch with accidental sampling technique. The results of the hypothesis test were carried out using a simple linear regression analysis, obtaining a significance score of 0,000 meaning that the level of significance has a value of <0,05. So the hypothesis is accepted and it can be concluded that there is an influence between organizational commitment to perceptions of organizational activity in the cadres of the Catholic Student Association of the Republic of Indonesia.
