Abstract

Retaining quality employees and building loyalty in the work environment is the main challenge for a company. One of the crucial factors in forming employee loyalty is job satisfaction. At PT JIA there is a phenomenon of high daily employee turnover. As well as low participation in company activities outside of work duties. This research aims to determine the effect of job satisfaction on employee loyalty at PT JIA. The research uses a quantitative descriptive approach with an explanatory research design. Data was collected from 52 daily employees out of a total of 257 employees. Hypothesis testing using a linear regression test shows that there is a positive and significant influence between job satisfaction and employee loyalty, p = 0.001, < 0.05 and R² = 0.324. Data analysis shows that the level of job satisfaction contributes 32.4% to employee loyalty. These findings emphasize the important role of job satisfaction in forming employee loyalty at PT JIA, the higher the job satisfaction, the higher the employee loyalty
