Abstract
The K-pop trend has swept across all demographics, particularly among teenagers. As K-pop fans, they show their support and love for their idols in various ways, such as purchasing related merchandise. They are willing to spend significantly to acquire idol merchandise. This study aims to explore the influence of celebrity worship on impulsive buying behavior among teenage K-pop fans. The study involved 100 respondents aged 18-22 who are K-pop fans and have purchased merchandise. Non-probability sampling, specifically purposive sampling, was used to select participants. Data was collected using a questionnaire measuring celebrity worship and impulsive buying. Data analysis utilized simple linear regression. The results showed a significant significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, a t-value of 8.794 > t-table 1.987, and an R square value of 0.44. Therefore, it can be concluded that celebrity worship has a significant influence on impulsive buying among teenage K-pop fans. Celebrity worship positively influences impulsive buying by 44%, suggesting that higher levels of celebrity worship correlate with higher levels of impulsive buying
