Abstract

Self-efficacy is one solution that can reduce the level of work family conflict. Work family conflict, which is high for female police officers, can have an impact on decreasing performance in community service. The purpose of this study was to
determine the relationship between self-efficacy and work family conflict in female police officers at the Malang City Police. This research is a research with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study was 57 female police officers in the Malang City Resort Police using purposive sampling as the data collection technique. Measuring tools used in this study were self-efficacy scales and work family conflict in the form of a Likert scale. The reliability coefficient for the selfefficacy
scale was 0.986, while for the work family conflict scale it was
0.994. The test results with the product moment Pearson correlation show -0.801 (negative direction) with a significance value of 0.000, this indicates that there is a relationship in a negative direction between self-efficacy and work family
confidence. This negative relationship can be interpreted as the higher the selfefficacy, the lower the work family conflict, and conversely the lower the selfefficacy, the higher the work
family conflict.
