Abstract

During the lecture process, especially at the final level, students can experience various obstacles that will be experienced during the preparation of their thesis, this can have an impact on students' resilience. This research was conducted to determine the effect of self-compassion on resilience in final year students. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were final year students who were working on their thesis. The sampling technique was purposive sampling of 100 final year students who were working on their thesis. The data collection method uses a Likert scale, namely a resilience scale and a selfcompassion scale. Data analysis uses simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of a simple linear regression test, it shows that self-compassion has an influence of 17.8% on resilience in final year students, while the rest is influenced by other factors
