Abstract

An imbalance between job opportunities, high competition, and the demands of company qualifications can't be denied can cause worry and anxiety in students. This problem can be seen as an opportunity and a threat. Individuals who will face
the world of work should have prepared well during college. One step that can support individual preparation is to take part in an apprenticeship program. Through quantitative research methods with a comparative approach, this study aims to determine differences in anxiety in facing the world of work in terms of student participation in the MBKM internship program. The subjects of this study were 100 respondents, consisting of 50 students who had participated in the MBKM internship program and 50 students who had never participated in an
internship program. Sampling using non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling technique. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using the t-test obtained sig. 0.00 <0.05 with a mean score of 112,380 students who have
never taken part in an internship program and 82,340 students who have taken part in the MBKM internship program. The results of this study indicate that there are differences anxiety in facing the world of work between students who have attended the MBKM internship program and students who have never attended the MBKM internship program.
