Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between Conformity and Consumptive Behavior in the women's tahlil congregational social gathering group in Krajan Sae Hamlet RT.03/RW.06 Beji Village. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlation model. The population in this study
were members of the women's tahlil congregational social gathering group in Krajan Sae Hamlet RT.03/RW.06 Beji Village, with a sample size of 55 people, where the sampling technique used total sampling. Data collection in this research was by using a Likert scale, namely with two scales, the Conformity scale and the Consumptive Behavior scale using a questionnaire with the help of Google Form. The results show that there is a positive relationship between conformity and consumptive behavior which shows r = 0.846 and p = 0.001 (<0.05). So based on the correlation results, the proposed hypothesis is accepted. Based on the research that has been done and the theories that have been explained, it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between conformity and consumer behavior.
