Abstract
Grief caused by the death of a parent is a source of considerable pressure for a child, this pressure is what makes the child need to have resilience in order to get up and move on with life. Gender is one of the important factors that influences the grieving process in individuals. The aim of this research is to determine the resilience process of early adult girls who are experiencing grief after the death of their parents. The data collection method used by researchers is qualitative case studies, and the subject criteria are girls who are in early adulthood (18 - 25 years). and experienced grief because of one of his parents in less than a year. The three stages of data analysis carried out by researchers were data reduction, data display and conclusions. The research results showed that the subjects tended to show high resilience, this was marked by the development phase that occurred in each subject.
